Jonathon was born in Mesa Arizona and moved to Delta Utah as a small child. He worked on the family farm until the age of 17 when he joined the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. He served one deployment and was injured on a training accident which led to a medical retirement. He then moved to Stockton and joined the Deseret Chemical Depot servicing on their Special Reaction Team as a sniper. After being promoted to Desk Sergeant and Shift Lieutenant, he transferred to Dugway Proving Ground at the closure of Deseret Chemical Depot. While working as a member of the Response Force at Dugway, he joined the Fire Department where he was put through emergency medical technician school, graduating at the top of his class. He later attended the Fire Academy. Jonny served as a Training Officer with the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department until November of 2015 when he was voted in as the Assistant Fire Chief. He transferred from Dugway Proving Ground to Tooele Army Depot where he serves as a member of the Installation Fire Department. Jonny has expressed his love for Stockton and his desire to continue to do all he can to make it a safe and better place to live.
