Upon receipt of a citation, the Defendant needs to appear or contact Stockton Justice Court not less than (5) five nor more than (14) fourteen days after issuance of citation.

Ron E. Powell
Judge Ronald E. Powell was appointed to the Stockton Justice Court in 2004. Judge Powell is a Vietnam Veteran and served with the United State Navy. He has nine years of law enforcement experience in the State of California, where he studied the administration of justice. After retiring as a supervisor from the City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power, Judge Powell moved to Utah. Judge Powell earned a certificate in legal studies from the Legal Institute for Justice Court Judges.
Justice Court Clerk
Alissa was born in Hayward, California then moved to Dugway, Utah, finally settling in Tooele County where she still resides. She worked in the Medical Field for a number of years, but having family in the Criminal Justice field, was inspired to make a career change. She has served as the Justice Court Clerk for three years. Alissa enjoys hiking all over Solider Canyon, loves traveling, going to concerts, and hiking, hiking, hiking. She is the proud mother of three beautiful children.
