Chief Travis Romney

Chief Travis Romney

Born and raised in Salt Lake. Travis got into law enforcement  when he was 15 year sold as a Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Explorer, after being inspired by a school resource officer. He has 8 years of law enforcement experience ranging from simple VIN inspections, to being the lead investigator on a homicide case. He loves working for the Town of Stockton and is excited to serve this community.  He was officially appointed as Chief of Police on July 14, 2016.

Officer Ryan Oyler

Ryan Oyler has been a Police Officer for 7 Years. He began his career as an Explorer for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, before being hired by the Taylorsville City Police Department. When Taylorsville was absorbed into the Unified Police Department Officer Oyler went along with them. He is married with two children and is happy to be a part of the Stockton Police Department.

Officer Ryan Staats

Ryan Staats has been a Police Officer for 2.5 years. He started off as a Deputy Constable for the Ogden City Constables Office, before being hired by Grantsville City Police. Ryan Staats has since went on to work for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office in their Protective Services Division and is happy to be a part of the Stockton Police Department.

Devin Young

Devin C. Young was born and raised in Utah County and comes from a family of Military and Law enforcement, all the way from both grandfathers serving in the Korean war to his little brother that is a patrol officer for Unified PD. He works full time as an Aircraft Mechanic at Salt Lake International where he is a lead for 3rd shift and over 4 other mechanics.  Devin looks forward to working in a small town where he can get to know the community on a more personal basis and serve the town with dignity and pride.
